Okay, I think I promised awhile back that I wouldn’t show any more Christmas cards until after Thanksgiving. Sorry. I have to break my promise. There are just so many gorgeous Christmas cards floating around the web that I just had to pull out Christmas stamps and create!
I’ve been dying to try a technique that I saw Brandi Barnard do called Watercolor Lifting and it’s a fabulous technique! The colors I used were Pool Party, Pacific Point, and Night of Navy.
After I let the watercoloring dry, I ran the panel through my Big Shot with the Sparkle Embossing Folder. Then I adhered it to a Pool Party piece and tied it with some Silver Ribbon. The sentiment and big snowflake is from the Tin of Tags kit. I embossed the sentiment with Silver Embossing Powder. Then I added a few Pool Party Enamel Dots and some dots of Silver Dazzling Details.
I don’t have my camera set up yet so I can’t show you a video on this technique just yet but if you want to try your hand at this, you can see Brandy’s video here: https://youtu.be/huwaOqkGqpM
